Eden Light has become the latest company to join the green revolution!
Eden Light have taken the decision to make use of paperless invoicing to send clients their monthly *WebPlan statements electronically and no longer send them to clients by post.

*A WebPlan statement is a monthly itemised statement of work which details completed tasks for the past month and scheduled tasks for future months. The statement also includes the balance of hours and is attached to a success report for the clients’ website.

There are several reasons for this change.
Paperless invoicing saves environmental waste. Both Eden Light and our clients are participating actively in green practices not because it is a trend, but because it is important to conserve and reduce waste.
Paperless invoicing is an eco-business solution that will build rapport and increase sales by increasing customer satisfaction.
Eden Light take a very serious approach towards Corporate Social Responsibility, the switch to invoicing WebPlan statements electronically will significantly reduce the amount of paper used to operate the business. This will in turn have a positive effect on the environment; a reduction of 50 paper invoices per month can result in the following resource savings over a year:
• Paper – 7.62 kilograms
• Water – 607 litres
• Oil – 20.56 litres
• Greenhouse gases – 136 kilograms of greenhouse gases avoided
• Forest – 3.84 square metres of forest preserved from deforestation

Not only will the move to greener practices help to reduce Eden Light’s carbon footprint and take better care of our environmental responsibilities, but it is also a cost saving move that is especially important in today’s deteriorating economy.
Paperless invoicing is financially beneficial to an organisation, such as Eden Light, as it eliminates the costs associated with obtaining paper resources, printing and postage.
By cutting back on the costs of production and distribution of paper invoicing, companies such as Eden Light will save a huge amount of time and money.
